About The Course
Surgical Crown Lengthening is an extremely useful tool in the dental practitioners repertoire. It can transform unrestorable teeth to restorable and enable you to deliver maximum gingival esthetics. It can often be the finishing touch to perfect your patient's smile.
This course covers both, functional and esthetic aspects of crown lengthening surgery. Detailed discussions of key concepts such as the biologic width, gingival biotype, keratinised tissue width and smile design are done and applied to clinical scenarios. Hands-on teaching will take place using pig's jaws where you will learn periodontal incision and flap elevation, soft tissue and hard tissue contouring and advanced suturing. You will get to refine your surgical technique under close supervision and mentoring of our highly trained specialists with step by step guidance.
Using our highly interactive and effective teaching techniques you will walk away from the course with the ability to manipulate the ginigval margin giving you more control over your clinical and esthetic outcomes.
